This cozy, rustic cabin is nestled on the bank of the scenic Little River in quaint Townsend, TN. Just a short drive from Pigeon Forge, Cades Cove, and other area attractions, this rustic cabin combines the feeling of solemn remoteness with the convenience of local walking-distance amenities, including a grocery store, gas station, and many restaurants. We are even less than two miles from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park! We have one of the best locations in Townsend!

What’s Included and What You Should Plan to Bring
The cabin is equipped to provide our guests with amenities necessary for a successful stay. We do not supply food and many supplies which you will need to bring with you. If you run out while in Townsend, don’t worry! There’s an IGA Super Market just a half-mile from the cabin. Also, please be aware that the cabin does not have room for a washer/dryer, and therefore if you require such amenities you will require use of the Townsend Laundromat just a third of a mile from the cabin. We also offer plenty of closet space and drawer space for you to pack plenty of your clothing even if you’re staying for up to 2 weeks! If you’re staying for longer than 2 weeks, please be mindful of your laundry-related needs.

** Based on most recent inventory, games may include: Backgammon, Checkers, Chess, Clue, Jenga, Life, Scrabble, Sorry, Trouble, Uno, and Yahtzee as well as two decks of traditional playing cards. If you use games/cards please be careful to return all pieces/materials to their appropriate boxes and do your best to preserve all items for future guests.
*** A firewood stacker, labeled “Take a Timber, Leave a Timber,” is located on the porch, and we encourage all guests to “pay it forward” and leave their remaining firewood for each other. Firewood can typically be purchased from the local IGA Supermarket or Ace Hardware.
